Imagine a room full of men openly expressing the things that trouble them most—whether it’s about being married, being single, childhood traumas, or simply finding the courage to be vulnerable. These men are discussing the uncommon, yet very real issues that affect them daily. It’s possible, it’s relevant, and it’s real.

Though I wasn’t able to attend today’s gathering, I was pleased to see so many men show up, sharing their thoughts and emotions. To all the men who struggle with expressing themselves—it often stems from the fact of having people around you that embrace you and support you. From experience - it's not easy to share your thoughts to people and or around people especially people who aren't comfortable or use to sharing their experiences as well.

Just talk.

My name is Rico, and I’m from New York City. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a model but felt like I lacked support from the people closest to me. At least, that’s what I thought until I realized they were supporting me the whole time—they just needed to see me push myself harder.

Too often, we expect others to be obligated to support us or give us a helping hand, but in reality, they aren’t. Everyone has their own life, and people support us in the ways they’re able to.
