Tampa Bay Christian Academy
Transportation & Technology Fundraiser Campaign
Kory’s World Inc. partnered with Tampa Bay Christian Academy to help the school create a compelling fundraising campaign focused on improving critical infrastructure for their students. The school needed support raising funds to repair their transportation vehicles and acquire new laptops that would enhance the classroom learning environment.
Working directly with both school leadership and students, I developed and produced a fundraising campaign designed to tell the school’s story while actively involving the children in the creative process.
This project was not just about producing a commercial — it was about empowering students, teaching them creative skills, and using storytelling to support a meaningful cause.
Our Role & Contributions
• Produced and filmed a fundraising commercial designed to communicate the school's needs and mission to potential supporters.
• Edited the final commercial campaign, creating a clear and engaging message that encouraged community support.
• Helped the school successfully reach their fundraising goal, supporting repairs for transportation vehicles and technology upgrades.
• Worked directly with students on set, showing them how professional photography and video production works in a real-world environment.
• Taught the students how to capture photos and film video, introducing them to creative media skills.
• Created an active and energetic production environment, incorporating exercise and movement on set to keep students engaged, confident, and excited to participate.
• Collaborated closely with school leadership, understanding their needs and translating those needs into a visual story that could inspire donors.
Impact
This project demonstrated how creative storytelling, student engagement, and strategic media production can support educational institutions and community-driven initiatives. By combining professional production with hands-on student learning, the campaign not only helped raise funds but also exposed students to the world of media, communication, and teamwork.
The success of the fundraiser highlighted the power of authentic storytelling and the impact that thoughtful media production can have when aligned with a meaningful mission.
